The Kingcrows are a bottomless barrel of punk ‘n’ roll fun, stomping and singing their way up and down the UK.

Stealing their musical influences across the first and second-wave of punk, this band adds a smile to your soul and a wiggle to your butt. Just place yourself in 1970’s New York knocking back Jack Daniels at CBGB’s or Soho 1980’s downing pints at The Marquee.

Mind you, these guys are just as much at home at current punk festivals armed with a guitar and a chaser or two. Infuse these forces together and you’ve got The Kingcrows with their punk power hooks creating addictive punk ‘n’ roll.

Gigging original material and a love for the music scene means everything to them. Showcasing new songs alongside fan favourites, they’ve forged a solid reputation.

The Kingcrows are proud to have performed over 500 gigs throughout the UK with many venue requests to return time and time again. They’ve played the world’s largest punk festival Rebellion twice and the great British Punk Festival Nice ‘n’ Sleazy many times.

They’re also super chuffed to have backed Ed TenpoleTudor for ‘Swords Of A Thousand Men’ and TV Smith The Adverts for ‘One Chord Wonders’.

Oh, and let’s not forget they’ve played alongside The Dead Boys, Spear Of Destiny, TSOL, The Rezillos, UK Subs, Anti Nowhere League, The Exploited, GBH, The Business, Ritchie Ramone, Vice Squad, Chelsea, The Lurkers, 999, The Vibrators, Red Alert, The Outcasts, Peter & The Test Tube Babies and many more legendary and emerging bands over the years.

It’s their love of providing a substantial slice of merriment to any evening’s entertainment whilst giving the audience a happy and memorable gig which makes The Kingcrows shine.

They’re not just out there gigging, they’ve also released a clutch of attention grabbing EP’s, CD’s and vinyl.

The band entered Ivolv studios in 2009 and produced the album ‘A Murder Most Fowl’. In 2010 they recorded the EP ‘Magdelene‘ to cover some older unrecorded tracks. In 2011 creative juices were flowing and they recorded ‘Up before the Beak’ a continuation of bird themed titles.

An EP in 2013 ‘Gonna Grow Up One Day‘ proved very successful and sold out.

Stu Taylor of STP records, Manchester approached the band and kindly offered to work with them and it was at this stage the band truly upped the ante releasing ‘Corvus Maximus’ in 2012, a collection of earlier material as stocks of these EPs were selling out.

In 2015,  STP Records released ‘Funland’ tying in nicely with their first Rebellion festival appearance where they were part of the annual star studded line-up.

Over the next few years, continued gigging and writing took place as the band solidified their offering and created their highly regarded 2019 release ‘Brute Force & Ignorance’. With thirteen blistering tracks of high octane punk fuelled nonsense, it was decided to release this as a limited edition album on neon green vinyl.

The band were as pleased as punch to receive a review by the indie music magazine, Vive Le Rock stating:

‘Their brand of boisterous, good-time noise deserves wider audiences through their infectious punk rock rush.’

You won’t find these guys in the mainstream or as part of some major record label – but that’s the point. There’s something to be learned from their creativity, years of experience, and sheer love of their craft. This is four guys on a mission, in a shiny new van, armed with catchy lyrics and upbeat tunes.
